Loine Gay Stowell Mottishaw 1930 ~ 2008 Loine Gay Stowell Mottishaw passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 after a valiant struggle with pancreatic cancer. She passed, only after being assured that her family would be well taken care of without her. Loine was born on Nov. 14, 1930 to Alvin Philemon and Afton Ellen Jensen Stowell in Rupert, ID. While working at Mountain Bell Telephone Company in Pocatello, Idaho, she married Brian George Mottishaw, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 20, 1952. She was blessed to be a hard-working, quiet, loving, gentle, nurturing, spiritual daughter of God. She was a precious jewel to all who knew her. She always took care of others before herself. She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Mottishaw; son, Forrest Brian (Nancy Smith) Mottishaw; daughter, Ellen Gay Mottishaw Hatch; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two on the way; and a sister, (Ellen) Ann Stowell Wright. She was preceded in death by two sons who died at birth, Steven George and Jeffrey Mottishaw, and her parents. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wed., January 30th at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, UT. A second viewing will be held the morning of Thursday, Jan. 31st, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the West Bountiful 1st Ward, 311 N. 800 W., West Bountiful, UT. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Graveside Services will be held Thursday at the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, ID at 3:30 p.m.
