We Made It!!!

Well, in case you haven't heard- we're back in Utah! We finally made it! We're still kind of in limbo here with Nate not working yet, and with no phone and no internet :) But we are having fun getting back into the swing of things. Our house is nice- we like it a lot. Lots of room for us. It's pretty far out there in Eagle Mountain and we we're not completely familiar with the area yet, but it's going to be fun to get to know the area and make it our home.
So anyway- I wanted to thank EVERYONE for ALL the help we had. We believe you were all angels in the miracles that we witnessed through all of our moving. Thank you so much. If there's ever ANYTHING any of you need- please call us first- we have a lot of paying back to do- and we need to return the goodness.
Thanks!!! Please feel free to call us or come visit- we are looking forward to seeing everyone. I will get some pictures on here soon :) We've had a lot of fun since the last time I posted anything :)

Charity in the Drum Jam!

I didn't realize how big a deal this was until I saw this poster on the wall with Charity's picture and everything. Made me realize how special it was!! Charity is the third one from the left.

We all went to Charity's school to see her Drum Jam Group practicing.

Here she is fixing her music on her music stand- all official-like :) I couldn't stop smiling I was just so proud of her.


It's a pretty big group- I guess they take one kid from each class--


She was actually REALLY good- I was proud of her. Afterward her teacher asked if we were sure she couldn't stay long enough to be in the concert because "she's so talented!" and "the only Kindergartener that actually does it right". I thought that was pretty cool. Charity is pretty proud of herself as well. We had to go celebrate!

Here's one video- we'll see if I can get the others to load- they're all pretty much the same :) but it's just so exciting :)

Cute Little Kids

Kelly's few toys that we didn't ship :) She LOVES her bunny.


This cute little kid WANTED to put the high heels on SO BAD- so we gave in and he just looked SO FUNNY!! Totally had to inch around- it was really hard for him to walk. He's so funny.

Putting up our temporary Tree :)

This is one of the ornaments Charity made at her Primary Activity. Look how chapped her poor little lip is!! This dry air is killing me!


Someone at Nate's work gave us this tree so Saturday we just had to put it up!! It really has made our house feel more homey- since there isn't anything else in it to make it feel that way.

We did save a few ornaments that we didn't pack- but they sure don't cover this HUGE tree by any means!







These are the coolest glasses ever!! They make pictures show up around the tree lights when you look through them.


Okay, I totally don't know what Luke was imagining here- but he was just in his own little world, putting the light on the cardboard, and then pretending to put something in his mouth- I just thought it was cute to see him doing some imagining all on his own. He's his own little boy :)

The boys have been jumping off things all weekend, and just having the time of their lives- it's so funny. Sorry if you're sick of the pictures :) They always insist that I take more :)

We're down to about 7 hours of sunlight- and yesterday Charity didn't get to go out for recess so it must have been colder than -10 degrees, so it is getting pretty cold :) Still no snow though- go figure. But we're counting down the days till the big move- it's totally coming up!! Hope you're all having fun getting ready for Christmas!

Little Boy Stuff

These moments just make me so anxious for our baby to come. I'm glad he will have such fun big brothers to look up to. They're all going to have so much fun together- I get excited to see the three of them together!

Whoever said we needed toys or furniture to have fun...

Boys are so good at improvising- when they want to have fun- they want to have fun, and that's just what they do :) Brad and Luke totally made good use of our Christmas tree (in the box) and the sleeping bag. They discovered this entertainment totally on their own since the girls were at their Primary Activity and not here to make them be dogs or horses or something :). I thought it was cute so I of course had to get out the camera, and then being the hams that they are- they went to town, trying to make some great action photos. They've totally learned how to pose for pictures now :) Bradley taught Luke how to come running over to the camera after each jump to see how the picture looks. They're fun little guys! I'm so glad that they found something to do in the middle of our nothingness :)

Luke just loves watching his big "bubba" it's so cute! I can't wait till Luke has his little brother watching his every move. They're gonna have so much fun!!

This was funny because Bradley kept trying to kinda push Luke off (such a big brother), and almost everytime- it backfired and he would make himself fall off somehow- crazy kid.

Luke actually got brave enough to sit down on the box and just fall backwards and do a back somersault. It was pretty funny- kinda scary :)

Pay no attention to the mess in the background. Somehow- even with how little stuff we have left here- we still manage to have a messy house :) Go figure.

We have a place to live!!! YAY!!

I just realized that it's been a WHOLE week since I last posted, and I just want to say- what a week it's been!! We do have a place to live now- we signed a lease on a place in Eagle Mountain- I will probably just email the address for privacy reasons (you know). But we're happy to have that done and out of the way, thanks again Paulette.
We also shipped all of our stuff on Tuesday- that was nuts. Turns out our stuff weighs a lot more than we thought- good thing we didn't send any furniture :) But we only have what will fit in our suitcases and what we haven't sold yet. So hopefully it will all pan out in the next 2 weeks, and we will be able to make a little bit off of our stuff here.
We still don't have anymore snow- kinda funny to move away from Alaska in the middle of the winter without any snow! We'll see I guess. Can't complain though :)
So, anyway- felt like it had been a while, so I thought I would share some good news! Everything seems to be going according to plan, and we're very grateful for that!! The blessings are just overflowing- thanks for all the prayers!
Maybe next time I'll have a picture for ya :)

Our Own Little Thanksgiving Dinner!

So we decided to have our own little dinner at home. It was actually pretty fun!! Nate made the Turkey and Ham (he did SO AWESOME!!- probably the moistest turkey I've ever had), and I made everything else. It all turned out really well. I wanted to have it in the living room so that it felt different to the kids, and not just like any old meal, and they were totally weirded out- it was cute :) They couldn't stop talking about how we were eating in the LIving room. It was neat though- very memorable!

charity brought this idea home from school- she made these on her cooking day, so we made them for place settings for the family- Baby Bob's is going to be stale by the time he gets it I think. (We asked Brad what we should name the baby and he took only a few seconds to spout out "Bob", with just a casual attitude- like "we haven't named him yet? well, gee- how about Bob." He's funny- so now we call our baby "Baby Bob" :) hopefully we can come up with something else by the time he gets here :)

Lukey's Loopy :)

Luke, Brad and I were making breakfast, and both of the boys were just being silly. This was one of the things Luke did to make Brad and me laugh. It was really really funny at the time :) He just kept doing it over and over because he was getting the laughs. What a nut.

So we have been in the middle of a "heat wave" as Nate's weather teacher calls it. We got up into the high 40's the last couple of days!! Pretty amazing to see our snow melt (so much for all my whining and complaining about the snow not melting here :) it sure showed me). We almost don't have any now, and the roads are all cleared. Kinda crazy. But I guess it's supposed to just DROP tomorrow- so we'll see :) But it sounds like it's been cooler in Utah than it has here!! Kinda funny.

Things for the move are coming along well. We have almost sold all of our stuff (kinda early, but at least it's done). We are still looking for a place to live, but thanks to Paulette- we feel a lot more confident that we can get into something comfortable. We will be looking for a car soon too- if anyone knows anyone that is selling a car that fits 8 please let us know!! And if you know anyone with extra furniture and stuff- that they want to sell or get rid of--- please let us know of that too!! We will be needing pretty much ALL furniture when we get there. Minus our bed- thank you Christy!! But right now we are working on packing up everything to ship. We'll pack all that we can't fit in our suitcases and take it to the shipping place early next week. Well, anyway- I don't need to tell everyone all this- you can tell it's on my mind :)

We're doing good though- everything is working out so smoothly- such a blessing!!!

Doesn't do it justice

So here's my second attempt to get a picture of how the trees look with the freshly fallen snow- this isn't my favorite yet- I'm gonna have to keep trying. But this one looked kinda pretty with the pink from the sunsetting. This is Cheney Lake by the way- for all those of you who know where that is :)



This one didn't quite work out either- but I was driving :) But I LOVE how the evergreens look dressed in snow!! It's SO PRETTY!!! I'll keep trying though- this isn't good enough.

We're just milking these boxes for all they're worth :) Hopefully there's enough left when it's time to pack :)

I just thought it was so cute how Luke totally JUMPS before he "falls down". Kelly's there too, being a cute big sister- the others are our good friends Nina and B- The battery in my camera died right at the end or I would have gotten a few more laps of Ring Around the Rosie :)

Charity's School Picture

This is Charity's school picture. She was so cute about it. She said she smiled like that because "she didn't know the people taking the picture, so she was shy". She's so funny. I like her shy smile :) Looks sweet.
