Nate took us to his work picnic last night. It turned out to be a REALLY FUN thing for the family. Charity got to ride the "bucking salmon". She did SO GOOD- she rode him for over a minute and as she puts it "NEVER EVEN FELL OFF!" (the guy controlling it thought she looked scared, so he stopped it- but she was pretty proud of herself for not falling :) Bradley, Kelly and Charity all had the time of their lives in the big jumping cage- I don't think Brad's ever been in one of those before- he had so much fun! Then we got some frisbees, and had a yummy dinner, tried to win some raffle prizes (which for some reason they never called our numbers!!! :( ) And the highlight of the evening- the kids got to get their faces painted. When the face painting lady asked Charity what she wanted she said "glitter", so the lady improvised :) Kelly was a kitty-cat. Bradley was a very cool Spider man! You should have see Luke's reaction to Brad's face- it was way cute! They were laughing at each other. The kids love to have their faces painted, so waiting in line for an hour was totally worth it :) It poured most of the time we were there, so we all woke up with colds :o) But we sure had a really good time. The lake we were by (Mirror Lake) was really pretty too- unfortunately my camera battery was dead so I didn't get any pictures while we were there. There was however a guy there taking pictures and he supposedly puts them on a website and sends the link to everyone in the company, so I'll keep ya posted if I ever get my hands on more- it was a really fun picnic!
